This painting’s owner reports:
The best we can piece together based on story and myth is that my grandmother fell in love with this painting when she saw it at the Brown Country Fair. She was born in Michigan and it reminded her of her childhood. It was in my grandparent’s home until they passed away in the late 1970′s and has been in my parent’s front hallway ever since. I have always loved it …simple, peaceful and strong and reminding me of my midwestern roots.”
